This is a very simple and comfort tropical house. Located in Banda Aceh, this house is designed to deal with hot and humid climate. The owner requested a very simple design, in term of maintenance, sunlight shading is required to solve problems with intense solar radiation, which potentially causing problems with the excessive heat in the room.
Occupying limited land availability and the demands of the front yard, this house is designed to use the land effectively, while providing sufficient open space in accordance with the owner's request.

To overcome the problem of indoor air circulation, the principle of cross ventilation is used, which allows the exchange of air effectively and naturally. Cross ventilation is applied to the top of the building mass.
